United can now confirm that Mirco Antenucci has signed for the club on a two year contract from Ternana, subject to international clearance.

The striker who has now arrived from the Serie B club is United’s eleventh signing of the summer.

The 30-year-old, who was the captain of Ternana last season, tweeted on Wednesday evening his pride at signing for the club and said: “Proud to be a part of this club, I hope to give you a lot of satisfaction.”

Last season the striker scored 19 goals for Ternana in Serie B and was fifth in the overall goalscorers charts for the league.
