Over the last year, there have been many challenges to the safety of spectators and staff in the South Stand Lower at Elland Road.

At the Fulham game a group started a disturbance in the south stand concourse, causing damage and potential injury to fans and staff in their area.

As a result of this and to try and eliminate this totally unacceptable behaviour there will be no alcohol on sale in the South Stand Lower Tier for our game against Wigan on Boxing Day.  We will not allow a small group of individuals to intimidate loyal and reasonable fans at our ground.

Food and refreshments will still be sold. If this behaviour stops then the bars will again serve alcohol going forward.
