SAM SITS OUT SATURDAY

Byram misses out again...

Leeds United will go into Saturday’s Elland Road clash against Blackpool without the services of Sam Byram.

The youngster missed the midweek defeat at Watford due to a hamstring injury and he will be sidelined once again on Saturday.

“Sam won’t be fit,” confirmed United manager Brian McDermott. “I don’t know when he’ll be back at this stage, and we'll see how he goes.”

Midfielder Rudy Austin is also touch and go after missing the Vicarage Road reverse due to an ankle injury. Ross McCormack is expected to be fit and available after illness.

“We had a good session on Thursday,” said the boss. “We set the team up and we're look forward to Saturday.

“I've spoken to the players who will be playing and said to them they have to be characters, have the bottle, and have to give the crowd something.”
