GOALKEEPER TURNBULL UNDERGOES SURGERY
United stopper ruled out after suffering a broken ankle...
Goalkeeper Ross Turnbull is facing a spell on the sidelines after suffering a broken ankle in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Thorp Arch last week.
Ross has since undergone a successful operation on the injury and has already started his rehabilitation programme for what is set to be a "long-term" absence.
The 30-year-old, a summer a signing from Barnsley, has featured once in the first-team so far this season, coming into the side for August’s Capital One Cup trip to Doncaster Rovers.
He has, however, been ever-present on the bench as back-up for Marco Silvestri.
Everybody at Leeds United wishes Ross all the best in his rehab and for a speedy recovery.
