BARNSLEY: SKY BET PREVIEW

BARNSLEY: SKY BET PREVIEW

Sky Bet's Steve Bramley previews our trip to Oakwell...

Leeds will be determined to end they Oakwell hoodoo when they visit relegation-threatened Barnsley on Saturday.

The Tykes have won the last four matches against the Whites on home soil scoring 14 goals in the process and are 6/4 favourites  to extend that run as they continue their fight for survival.

The Whites ended their five match losing run in the Sky Bet Championship with a 2-0 victory over Blackpool last week, courtesy of a brace from Luke Murphy. The United midfielder is 11/1 to break the deadlock against the Tykes and 4/1 to net in 90 minutes.

Last season Barnsley won 2-0 and a repeat of that scoreline is priced at 11/1. United to win by the same margin is priced at 12/1.

Defensively Barnsley have proved hard to breakdown of late and have not conceded more than a single goal in each of their last six matches, winning three of those games - Leeds to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 in the Correct Score Group Betting market is available at 3/1.

The Tykes also took a point in a 0-0 draw at Elland Road earlier in the season and another goalless draw is 9/1 with Sky Bet.

Chris O'Grady heads the first goalscorer market at 5/1 for the Tykes, but Leeds skipper Ross McCormack is deemed the biggest threat to net first at 9/2.
