LEEDS FAN HOSTING CHARITY QUIZ

LEEDS FAN HOSTING CHARITY QUIZ

Put your footballing knowledge to the test for a good cause...

Leeds United fan Andrew Dalton is hosting a charity football quiz on Sunday December 7, with all proceeds going to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The quiz will take place at the Leeds University Student Union and kicks-off at 7pm.

Regular readers of the official website will be familiar with Andrew’s Stat Packs ahead of every game, and he now wants to put your footballing knowledge to the test all for a good cause.

It is £25 to enter a team of five and there will be 10 rounds of 10 questions on a range of football topics, with individual trophies being awarded to the eventual winners.

Those wanting to be involved can turn up on the night and there will be refreshments available.

There will also be a raffle, which includes prizes such as the chance to commentate on a Leeds United game from the Elland Road gantry with LUTV’s Thom Kirwin and Eddie Gray.

All funds received will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust - the only UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for the seven young people aged between 13 and 24 diagnosed with cancer every day.

They fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Teenage Cancer Trust also educates young people and health professionals about cancer to help improve the speed and quality of diagnosis.
