The application process is now open for all age groups (U-9 through to U-17) for the Leeds United Girls Centre of Excellence for the 2015/16 season.

The pathway includes:
Girls’ U9 Player Development Centre Years of Birth 2007/08
Girls’ Centre of Excellence U11s Years of Birth 2005/06
Girls’ Centre of Excellence U13s Years of Birth 2003/04
Girls’ Centre of Excellence U15s Years of Birth 2001/02
Girls’ Centre of Excellence U17s Years of Birth 1999/2000

Dates and Times for the Girls Centre of Excellence Trials are:
Saturday 13th June 10.00am – 12.00pm
Monday 15th June 6.00pm – 8.00pm
Thursday 18th June 6.00am – 8.00pm
Saturday 20th June 10.00am – 12.00pm
*Please note that players must attend at least 3 dates

Venue:  Boston Spa School, Clifford Moor Road, Boston Spa, Leeds, LS23 6RW
Surface:  Grass
Equipment Needed:  Training Kit – LUFC / Grass Roots Club / National / PDC – ONLY (No other professional club kit). Drinks / Skin pad / Suitable footwear

Girls Centre of Excellence:
The purpose of the Leeds United Girls’ Centre of Excellence is to identify and recruit the most talented local girls to enhance player development, incorporating the principles of Long Term Player Development; this provides individuals with technical, psychological and social knowledge to achieve their full potential. The programme means that our centre works closely with the England international team to make sure any potential player has the opportunity to be scouted.

You must be eligible to play for England: so you must either have been born in England, have a parent who was born in England, have a grandparent who was born in England or you must have been educated in England for at least five consecutive years and be under 16.
