The Leeds United Foundation still have places available on their Holiday Courses for the summer of 2014. 

Priced at only £48 per child, the courses last for four days and are available to any child aged between five and 12 years of age. Courses will run on 23-25 July, 28-31 July, 4-7 August, 11-14 August, 18-21 August, 26-29 August 2014, all from 10.00am till 3.00pm.

Two free tickets (one adult, one child) to a home match will be allocated to all children booked onto a Summer holiday course 2014. Tickets are subject to availability. Please note the match will be chosen by the The Leeds United Foundation and cannot be specified by the customer. The tickets will distributed to attendees on the final day of the course or posted out.

Each course is led by one of the Foundation’s FA qualified coaches and provide a rewarding, educational and fun football camp experience regardless of age, background or skill level.

The Leeds United Foundation’s Football Development Officer Gary Waddington, who heads up the courses said, “Our coaches follow an innovative programme, which addresses the technical, tactical, physical and psychological requirements of the game with a large emphasis placed on creating a fun learning environment. At the end of the course, everybody who participates will receive a certificate of attendance. In addition to this, medals, trophies are awarded to selected players for penalty shoot-outs and for the best attitudes.”

On each of the four days, the Foundation coaches also keep a keen eye for participants who perform well, as they will also be looking to scout players with a view to possibly recommending people for further Skills Centres, Development Centres, The Girls Centre of Excellence and even the Leeds United Academy.
