Ardent Leeds United fan Marc Bracha is issuing an appeal to former players and fans to assist him with a new book on 80s cult hero Ian Baird.

Striker Baird was a popular figure during two spells at Elland Road that saw him score 57 goals in 192 appearances, and his no-nonsense playing style epitomised the spirit of Leeds United at that time.

Marc is currently working on the project with our former marksman and has spoken to a number of Ian's team-mates from his time with the club.

Marc, who is chairman of the Norwich Whites, is appealing for former players and fans who have memories or anecdotes about Ian's two spells with Leeds to please get in touch.
