United can confirm that striker Dominic Poleon has signed for League One side Oldham Athletic for an undisclosed fee.

The striker has signed a two-year deal with the Latics.

The 20-year-old who came through the ranks of the Leeds United Academy has made a total of 36 appearances in all competitions and has netted four goals for the club.

The youngster has made two loan moves during his time at the club to Bury in 2011 and Sheffield United in 2013, but the striker has now completed a permanent transfer away from Elland Road.
