Paddy Kisnorbo celebrates his equaliser at Millwall

United defender Paddy Kisnorbo has been continuing his re-hab from an Achilles injury in the USA.

The Aussie international, the club's Player of the Year last season, suffered the injury in the clash with Millwall in March and after undergoing major surgery is still in recovery.

"Paddy's in America doing his re-hab," explained manager Simon Grayson.

"He's due back here any time now and he is coming along nicely.

"In terms of timescales, it's the same as, in that he has had a major injury and you can't rush someone back after an injury like that."

Paddy hasn't figured in a Leeds shirt since March, but despite the lengthy recovery from the injury, Grayson is refusing to rule him out of the entire season.

"Firstly, we'll be delighted to get him back in the building and among everyone," he said.

"It's been a long, long road for him, but he's a strong character and he is a bubbly character.

"We're still hopeful he will play some part this season, but as I've said, there's no fixed timescale or anything like that."
