BOSS EXPECTING ANOTHER TEST

David Hockaday looks ahead to Swindon Town friendly…

United head coach David Hockaday is expecting another tough test when his side travel to Swindon Town (7.45pm) on Tuesday evening.

The game at Swindon is the first team’s final friendly away fixture on English soil and the head coach is looking for improvement.

“I’m expecting another test like we had on Saturday,” said Hockaday. “They will get it down and play. If we pass the ball and move off the ball I think that we will cause teams a lot of problems. It is all about ball retention.

“We are going to roll our sleeves up and work hard.

“We have got to improve.”

Hockaday is expecting his players to show what they showed towards the end of the game at Chesterfield on Saturday.

“All we can do is work hard and put in an honest shift,” added the head coach. “Whatever the quality all the lads tried their hardest on Saturday.

“They kept on going until the end and at the end of the game at Chesterfield there was probably only one team that was going to go on and win the game.

“There is loads to improve on, we know that.”
