Richard Naylor and his Under 18's squad have the opportunity to face a Liverpool side at Anfield should they progress in the FA Youth Cup on Wednesday (7pm) evening at Elland Road.
Naylor's youngsters will be looking to put aside Burton Albion to set up a potential tie with the Anfield club, who are facing Histon in this round of the cup.
"That would be ideal," said Naylor. "If you ever needed a carrot to dangle infront of the kids it's away at Anfield, they will relish playing there.
"They will be looking to get through on Wednesday night and that's what they will be concentrating on."
Although an exciting fifth round tie is in the making for his young side Richard won't be letting the team get ahead of themselves, as Burton will be looking to cause an upset themselves to take up the challenge of an Anfield trip.
"They have been doing alright in their league and they beat Sheffield Wednesday in the last round so that was a good scalp for them," said Richard.
"They are hard to break down and a hard working side so they will make it difficult for us.
"We need to make sure that we are focused and play the football we have been playing this season.
"It won't be easy - it's their cup final coming to Elland Road and I'm sure they will be looking forward to it."
Wednesday night will also see the managerial debut for Richard Naylor at Elland Road and it is something he is relishing.
"I'm looking forward to it, it will be different for me," said Naylor.
"I'm still learning my role and my trade so I'm enjoying it and it will be another step up the ladder for me."
Admission at Elland Road is £3/£1 and the game is also being screened live on LUTV from 6.55pm.
