Midfielder poised for new deal...
Midfielder Michael Brown is expected to extend his Leeds United stay by signing a new contract with the club at the start of August.
The 35-year-old was offered a new one-year deal at the end of last season and returned to pre-season training with his team-mates last week.
The former Sheffield United and Tottenham man made 26 appearances last season, the majority coming following the arrival of Neil Warnock as manager in February.
He was an ever present in Warnock's starting XI until a red card picked up at Easter effectively ended his season.
The boss confirmed: "We've offered Michael another year and I think we'll start that from next month."
