Yorkshire Radio

Yorkshire Radio and Minster FM have once again renewed the unique broadcasting partnership which brings Leeds United match commentaries to FM in Yorkshire for the 2012/13 season.

The agreement for the 2012/13 season will see Yorkshire Radio's DAB Digital Radio matchday coverage and exclusive match commentary continue on Minster's FM frequency of 104.7 which provides coverage on FM across the region.

The matchday programme runs between 2pm and 6pm on Saturdays and 7pm and 10.30pm for midweek fixtures, and includes the best build up and reaction to the games with the first chance to hear the post match thoughts of the Leeds boss Neil Warnock.

Fans also have the chance to give their opinion after each game by twitter, text, email and phone on Extra Time with Elland Road legend and Yorkshire Radio's expert summariser Eddie Gray after every game.

Yorkshire Radio station director Ben Fry said: "I'm delighted we are continuing our relationship with Minster FM which benefits both stations and Leeds fans across the region. Our matchday coverage has improved every season and we have some new ideas for 2012/13 to take listeners even closer to the action.

"This deal also gives listeners the chance to experience Yorkshire Radio and find out more about our comprehensive sports coverage including full match commentary on 50 Super League games and being the official media partner of Yorkshire County Cricket Club and Go Racing In Yorkshire"

David Green, Programme Controller at Minster FM, said: "We as a station are delighted to team up with Yorkshire Radio to provide a great matchday service to Leeds fans across Yorkshire for another season and are looking forward to the action kicking off in August."

The FM coverage starts when the npower Championship season gets underway in August and will include every league and cup game throughout the season.
