The Leeds United Foundation are offering young people between the ages of 16-18 a unique opportunity to work as an Apprenticeship Coach and Study a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sport Development, Coaching and Fitness. As an Apprentice you will also earn a fixed weekly wage of £79.50

Programme Structure
Your 30 hour week will consist of theory and practical sessions at Leeds United Education Suite and Fitness Suites at York College. These facilities allow candidates to learn in a truly inspirational environment.
In addition to the theory based classroom BTEC qualification, you will gain invaluable experience as an ambassador of the Leeds United Foundation in an area of coaching and tutoring within Health, Sports Participation, Disability and Education
How is the course assessed?
As part of the programme you will be assessed using a variety of methods including written assignments, practical assessments and presentations.
What are the course entry requirements?
Aged 16 - 18
Students will be required to have 5 A-C GCSEs and at least a C grade in GCSE Physical Education. It would be advantageous to be at county standard in at least one sport.
