Rob Snodgrass celebrates at Burnley

United midfielder Robert Snodgrass will resume his international career when Scotland travel to Slovenia for a friendly match at the end of the match.

Robert, who was forced to miss the last bout of internationals due to injury, is named in Craig Levein's squad for the trip to Koper on Wednesday February 29.

Striker Ross McCormack, though, the second leading goalscorer in the Championship, continues his exile from the national side after not being named in Levein's 24-man squad for the game.

Ross has scored 16 goals this term and speaking to the Scottish Sun, he said: "I don't feel as if I will be in a squad no matter if I score goals or not.

"It is hard to take as people keep telling me I am going to be in the next squad or should be in it."

McCormack cited a number of players who have not been playing regularly this season - or have been as prolific - who have made the cut for the squad.

"I'd understand if they'd scored a lot more goals than me, but they haven't," he added.
