Neil Redfearn is hoping to beat the weather at Thorp Arch on Tuesday by fielding a strong reserve side in a behind closed doors game against Middlesbrough.

The game has been switched from Boro's Rockcliffe home to the United training ground with both sides keen to give their squad men some match action.

Andy O'Brien will make his return for United alongside Leigh Bromby at the heart of the defence, Robbie Rogers will get another game in, Mika Vayrynen will partner Zac Thompson in the middle, and Mikael Forssell and Billy Paynter play up front.
