Midfielder moves on after trial period...
Leeds United won't be retaining the services of trialist midfielder Matty Pattison.
The South African international, a former Norwich and Newcastle player, has been with the club for almost two weeks and played in two behind-closed-doors friendly matches.
The midfielder scored in the games against Newcastle United and Celtic, but Simon Grayson has confirmed he will not be offering the player an extended stay at this time.
"We won't be doing anything with him," said the boss.
"He did well for us in those few games, but we feel we already have players here in that role.
"He's shown a good attitude and I'm sure he'll go back to South Africa or wherever and do well.
"At this moment in time we didn't quite feel he was one who could take us to where we want to go, but he's a good player, he did well over here, and he'll make a decent career."
