The Football League have launched the search to find the Mitre Goal of the Year for 2011 and we are asking for your help in deciding which of our goals from the last 12 months should be put forward as our nomination.
We can nominate one goal from any Football League competition in the 2011 calendar year, to include goals scored in the Carling Cup and the npower Football League.
Ross McCormack's stunner at Doncaster is currently leading the voting ahead of Adam Clayton's strike at Leicester.
We want fans to help us decide our club nomination by e-mailing lutv@leedsunited.com">lutv@leedsunited.com. You can also check out the goals on LUTV.
Closing date for nominations are 9am on Monday January 16.
Our nominated goal will then be entered in the Mitre Goal of the Year category at the Football League Awards 2012.
In conjunction with viewers and presenters of Soccer AM, the entries will be shortlisted from the 72 club nominations to five goals overall. The winner will be decided at the glittering Awards ceremony at The Brewery, London on Sunday 11th March 2012.
