Deal in place for winger...
Leeds United have agreed a deal to sign USA international Robbie Rogers subject to securing a work permit for the player.
The 24-year-old winger, who has made over a century of appearances for MLS side Colombus Crew, has been on trial with the club and will now join up on a permanent basis subject to a work permit being secured.
United boss Simon Grayson is delighted with the potential capture of a player he believes can make an immediate impact in the Championship.
"We're delighted to have agreed a deal with Robbie," said the boss.
"He's been training with us and he came to Arsenal to get a feel of the group.
"He has been playing in the MLS where he has done well, he wants to continue his career in Europe, and we believe he will make an impact here.
"As soon the work permit business is complete he will be an immediate part of our plans and have an opportunity with the first team."
Robbie would be the third USA international to feature for the club with Mike Grella and Eddie Lewis having represented the country.
