Thierry Henry scores against Leeds in 2004

United manager Simon Grayson reckons his players will come up against one of the Premier League greats if Thierry Henry features for Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Monday.

The 34-year-old marksman has rejoined the Gunners on loan from New York Red Bulls and could make his second debut for the club against United in the FA Cup.

Henry scored over 200 goals for Arsenal during an eight-year spell between 1999 and 2007 in which he played a key part in one of the greatest teams ever to grace the Premier League.

Henry has netted in each of his last five appearances against United, and netted seven times in three games in 2003/04. He scored four on his last appearance against the Whites when Arsenal romped to a 5-0 win at Highbury in April 2004

"He's got to be one of the best players to have played in the Premier League," said the United manager.

"I played against him a few times and probably saw more of the number 14 on his back than the front of him.

"His goalscoring record is fantastic and he can create things out of nothing.

"Obviously, he's in the latter stages of his career now, but he's a legend and it'll be a privilege for our players to come up against him."
