United celebrate taking the lead

Simon Grayson is hoping Leeds United can serve another reminder to the Premier League's big boys on Monday evening about what the top-flight is missing.

Since arriving at Elland Road in 2008, Grayson has already presided over seven meetings with Premier League clubs, and included in that run was a memorable victory over Man United and draws at both Arsenal and Tottenham.

Last season, we took over 9,000 fans to Arsenal in the third round of the FA Cup when a stoppage time penalty denied Grayson's men another Premier League scalp - and the United boss is looking forward to getting back on the big stage once again.

"It's uncanny when you look at the number of Premier League clubs we've played over the last few years," he said.

"We've had Arsenal, Tottenham, and Man United twice and Liverpool, and it's great for the profile of the club.

"It's great for the players to test themselves and it's great for our supporters to go to these stadiums and remind everyone what Leeds are all about.

"It's a shame this is on Monday night because we'll take 5,000 instead of the eight or 9,000 we'd have taken had it been on a Saturday or a Sunday."
