Defender Alex Bruce has joined Huddersfield Town on loan until January.

The 27-year-old, who joined the club in the summer of 2010, has failed to make a first team appearance this season after falling out of manager Simon Grayson's plans.

Alex, who joined the club from Ipswich Town, made 25 appearances last season, scoring his only goal for the club, against Preston North End in September last year.

Alex's move takes him to a League One club, who despite having gone a record 43 league games unbeaten are second in the division to Charlton.
