Tom Lees is sent off

Leeds United will be without central defender Tom Lees for Sunday's clash at Leicester City.

The 20-year-old, who has been outstanding since making his senior debut in August, was red carded against Blackpool at Elland Road on Wednesday night after handling a Lomano Lua Lua shot.

Lees will receive an automatic one-game ban and boss Simon Grayson said: "It's disappointing. I thought maybe it was harsh because I'm not sure you can say it was deliberate. He didn't have the time to react.

"It'll be disappointing to lose Tom because he has done ever so well for us, and you want to keep a solid back four and team. But we have players who can come in.

"There's players who have been working very hard who I have a belief and trust in."

Paddy Kisnorbo returned to the starting line-up in place of centre-back Darren O'Dea against Blackpool due to the Irishman still feeling the effects of a head injury.

Andy O'Brien returned to the substitutes bench for the first time since August while Leigh Bromby and Alex Bruce can also slot in at centre-back.
