Scottish midfielder firing again...
Workaholic midfielder Robert Snodgrass firmly believes he is beginning to get into his stride, after missing much of pre-season due to injury.
The Scot was sidelined following the tour of Scotland and despite returning for the opening day trip to Southampton, Snoddy feels he has been playing catch-up after missing a chunk of the summer work.
"I feel that I missed so much of pre-season and I could feel it at times during the games," he said.
"I wasn't getting back as much as I'd have liked to do and that wasn't me. I've had to be patient with myself and get my match fitness up to where I think it should be."
Snoddy turned in his best performance of the season during Saturday's 1-0 win against Portsmouth when he was a threat going forward and was equally at home tracking back and playing a role defensively.
"We've been craving that result," said Robert.
"We've been striving to get that clean sheet, and maybe that has put some food for thought in peoples heads about what Leeds United can do and that we can keep a clean sheet.
"There's no doubt we have some good players and maybe it's been in the mindset sometimes with a clean sheet.
"You could see us winning five or six in a row with the players we have here and the characters. There were things needed touching up, but the gaffer could see that."
