Attentions turn back to league programme...
United youngster Aidy White has wasted little time in turning his attentions towards Friday's league trip to Brighton.
After going down 3-0 at home to Manchester United in the Carling Cup on Tuesday evening, the United squad were back at Thorp Arch on Wednesday morning preparing for the long trip to the south coast.
And the learning experience from Tuesday will be something the young players in the squad will be drawing upon as they prepare to return to league action.
"Tuesday was very difficult," said Aidy.
"You're playing against one of the world's best teams. They moved it so well and so fast and made it very difficult for us. We were chasing the game and they have good enough players to pop it around you.
"You don't come across many teams like Man United every day, but we also know we can play a lot better than that.
"You try and learn as a young player in every game you play in. You have to take the positives and learn from the negatives. We'll pick ourselves back up for Friday.
"We'll go to Brighton and hopefully pick up the win and put in a better performance. It's a new stadium, they've made a good start and it will be difficult, but we want the three points"
