Leeds United defender Aidy White will be suspended for the club's game against Crystal Palace.

The youngster picked up the first red card of his career at Ipswich Town on Saturday, and the club's appeal to get the decision overturned has proved unsuccessful.

United boss Simon Grayson said: "I'm disappointed that Aidy was sent off and I'm disappointed that our appeal was unsuccessful.

"I said at the time that I felt it should have been our free-kick because Aidy was pushed in the back in the first place, and I didn't feel it was a sending off.

"That decision changed the game at Ipswich and we are also without Aidy for Palace now which is doubly disappointing."
