Three of United's second-year scholars have ended the season with offers of professional contracts.

The Turner twins - Nathan and Lewis - have both been offered one-year deals, along with Alex Cairns.

Lewis Turner is a defender, Nathan is a central midfielder, and Cairns is a goalkeeper, and all three players have featured regularly for both the under-18s and the reserves.

Fellow scholar Zac Thompson has already signed a professional contract along with Sanchez Payne and Joe McCann.

Departing will be James Booker, James Baxendale, and Jonny Birbeck who have not been offered professional terms by the club.

Brandon Cardwell, who joined on a short-term deal, will also be departing the club.
