United striker set for QPR trip...
United striker Billy Paynter is aiming to end the league season on a high note at Queens Park Rangers on Saturday (12.45pm).
Summer signings Paynter and Ross McCormack linked up as strike partners for the first time last weekend against Burnley, and while Ross bagged his first goal for the club, Billy put in another hard working shift.
"I felt good when I came off, I got good support from Ross and we linked up well," said Billy.
"It's been hard this year for both of us and with the others playing well, it has been difficult to get in there.
"We wish the players who are playing all the best and what's best for the team. We're both looking to finish on a high and push for next season."
United head for Loftus Road knowing that the Play-Offs are still a distant possibility, subject to the results at QPR and Crystal Palace, and a substantial goal swing towards Simon Grayson's men.
"Who knows? Football's funny isn't it? All we can do is see if Forest slip up and we beat QPR," added Billy.
"QPR will be desperate to finish as champions and put in a good performance for the fans, and Palace, who play Forest, played well against us so hopefully they haven't given up."
