Leeds United enter the final six games of the championship season at Derby County on Tuesday with the defiant message: "We're not looking over our shoulder."

Saturday's 3-2 defeat at Millwall cut United's advantage in the Play-Off places to four points, but Leeds will head for Derby aiming to make up ground and maintain the security of a top-six place.

"We're not looking below us," said first team coach Glynn Snodin. "It's only when there's a point in it that you start looking over your shoulder. We're four points clear of seventh place and we're still looking at second place.

"It's going to be difficult now, we know that, but we'll keep going and we're up for that challenge. You know Leeds United, we never do things the easy way!

"I think the supporters are happy with where we are, and if it means the Play-Offs then we'll take that. There's a big prize whatever way it comes. The players have tasted that before and so have the supporters, but we've got six games to go and we're looking to get as many points as we can."

Tuesday's opponents Derby County are in need of points for different reasons. Saturday's 2-2 draw with Coventry lifted them to 19th place - eight points clear of the relegation zone - but manager Nigel Clough has said he believes they need another win to ensure their safety for another season.

"We both need the points for different reasons," said Snodin. "They will be looking over their shoulders a bit.

"They looked a good footballing side when they beat us back in August, but one or two players from that day have moved on now. They'll have a great crowd behind them, but if things don't go right they might get on their backs a little bit.

"We're looking forward to it. We'll be well prepared and we go again."
