Grayson reacts to Millwall defeat...
United manager Simon Grayson will demand an immediate response from his players in the wake of Saturday's 3-2 loss at Millwall.
Grayson's men return to action at Derby County on Tuesday, knowing the chasing pack is closing in after defeat at the Den left United in sixth place, four points clear of Millwall.
"You have to accept defeat at times," said the Leeds boss. "The win against Forest the didn't determine us a Play-Off place as the Millwall game didn't decide anything either.
"We've always responded well to defeats and we have to go again at Derby now.
"Saturday was a big result for Millwall and they won't be far away."
United went 2-0 down in the first half at the Den, but after pulling it back to 2-1, a third goal proved the end of the road for Grayson's men in London. United's second goal came in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
"It was a disappointing result," conceded the Leeds boss.
"We didn't start well and certainly not as we'd hoped, but at 2-1 we got ourselves back into it then got hit by a sucker punch.
"The ball took a deflection for their third and fell straight to Steve Morison who is a good finisher."
