Midfielder on the race for promotion...
Midfielder Bradley Johnson says Leeds United are preparing for nine cup finals that will make or break the dream of a Premier League return this season.
Saturday's 0-0 draw against Ipswich Town kept Leeds in fifth place and the battle is well and truly on for all the club's bidding to secure a place in the top division.
"We're right in it," said Brad. "Nobody expected us to be here at this stage, but we've got a nine-game season now and every game will be like a cup final.
"All the lads want to play in the Premiership. I've played in every league and my dream is to play in the Premiership and to do it with Leeds would be a dream.
"At the beginning of the season people didn't expect us to get promoted, but we're right up there now and have a real chance.
"We'll see how we get on at Sheffield United on Saturday, but we're a confident bunch of lads and go into every game believing we can win."
United were frustrated on Saturday after being held to a 0-0 draw by a well-drilled Ipswich side.
"We had three games in the week and would have taken seven points from nine, but we were on top for most of the game and it was frustrating," said Brad.
"The chances just didn't fall for us, and they stopped us. They didn't trouble us, in the second half we were well on top, but we just couldn't get the goal. They did their job well.
"We were a bit unlucky as well. We had a penalty turned down in the first half. The lad handled - his hands shouldn't be up there. Decisions change games sometimes, and we didn't get it.
"We'll always create chances, but on Saturday it didn't go for us. Like I said, we'd have taken seven from nine, particularly with the other results going for us, but with the way the game went it was a bit frustrating."
