Simon Grayson has finally won his first npower Manager of the Month award as boss of Leeds United.

Simon has won the December award after a month which saw United win three and draw two of the five league games played.

During the month, we beat Crystal Palace, came from 2-0 down to win at Burnley, and eased past league leaders QPR at Elland Road.

We also drew the games against Leicester and Portsmouth.

The boss has been nominated for a number of Manager of the Month awards since joining the club in December 2008, but this is the first one he has won.

"I'm proud to have won it," he said.

"A lot of hard work has gone in by my players and the rest of the staff.

"It's testament to the efforts of everyone and how hard we have worked over the past few weeks and months."
