Naylor undergoes clean-up surgery...
Leeds United captain Richard Naylor will be sidelined for up to six weeks after undergoing a minor knee operation.
Naylor has been out of action in recent weeks due to a knee problem, and he underwent surgery earlier this week in a bid to resolve the problem.
"Richard was feeling it after he came back in the reserves so we felt this was the best thing to do," explained manager Simon Grayson.
"He went in at the start of the week. It was a case of tidying things up really, and he'll be out for between four and six weeks."
In Naylor's absence, Jonny Howson has been captaining the team while Alex Bruce and Andy O'Brien have been forging a partnership at the heart of the defence.
