Brad Johnson celebrates the third goal

Midfielder Bradley Johnson firmly believes Saturday's game at Scunthorpe offers the opportunity to put to bed the mistakes that have been dogging Leeds United in recent weeks.

United head for Glanford Park on the back of a 4-0 home reverse at the hands of Cardiff City, but Brad insists no heads have dropped following the defeat.

"We went in at half-time on Monday 1-0 down and we were confident we could get back and get something," said Brad.

"But they scored a second goal, which was offside, and from then on we were chasing the game.

"No one's heads have dropped. We're a confident group of lads. We talked about it on Tuesday and what better chance have we got to put it right than going to Scunny and getting a result on Saturday?

"We do need to sort our home form out, but at the same time Cardiff are the best team in the league. We're not going to come up against a better group of individual players than that. They played us off the park in the second half.

"Hopefully we can put that to bed, move on, and get a win at Scunthorpe on Saturday."

United have shown more steel on the road this season, and a battle is expected at Glanford Park against a Scunthorpe side boosted by two away wins themselves.

"Every game is a tough game, but we have to go in with the right attitude," said Bradley.

"Everyone says we have to make Elland Road a fortress, but if we can keep picking up away wins we'll do okay.

"They have good players. They're not a tiny club, they are a proven Championship club and it should be a good game.

"We've just got promoted. We've got no expectations, but we do want to go in every game and win."
