Midfielder offers apology for Tuesday's defeat...
Midfielder Bradley Johnson reflected on Tuesday's defeat at the hands of Leicester and admitted: "It wasn't good enough."
Johnson stepped off the subs bench after a torrid opening 30 minutes for United, and the left-sided midfielder did provide an injection over the course of the game.
But it wasn't enough to help Leeds overcome a Leicester side who dominated large periods, yet capitalised on two mistakes to score the decisive goals.
"We know we weren't good enough," said Bradley.
"Coming from a good result on Saturday to Tuesday, it just wasn't good enough.
"I know we keep saying it, but it was a mistake again for the two goals. In this league you make a mistake and get punished. It's down to us.
"I've said it before, but I'm sorry to the fans who watched it. It was the same with Barnsley and Preston, and I know they've heard this before.
"We've got to get in a group and do it together. We've got to knuckle down and put it right."
United escaped without punishment in the first half, but Leicester cashed in to score twice after the break before Luciano Becchio pulled a goal back late on.
"In the first half they could have been 2-0 up and buried the game," conceded Brad.
"They were all over us and we were lucky to be 0-0. We went out for the second half and knew we had a chance, but the first goal put a downer on it.
"I thought towards the end we got a grip and I had a couple of chances, but their second goal decided it really."
