Former Premier League midfielder...
Former World Cup star Amdy Faye is set to make his debut in Leeds United's reserve side at Grimsby on Tuesday (7pm).
The 33-year-old midfielder, who lists Portsmouth, Newcastle, Charlton, Rangers and Stoke City among his previous clubs, has been training with Leeds over the past week.
The Senegalese international featured regularly during Stoke's first season in the Premier League, but injury restricted him to just one appearance last term and he parted company with the club.
Faye, who started his career in France, making his first senior appearances with Auxerre, has made 31 appearances for his country and featured twice during the 2002 World Cup.
United manager Simon Grayson will be travelling to Blundell Park to check out the midfielder.
"Amdy trained with us at the back end of last week and again on Monday," said the Leeds boss.
"He's got plenty of good experience and he's done okay. He'll play on Tuesday and we'll have a look at his fitness levels."
