Snodgrass and Paynter coming along nicely....
Injured players Robert Snodgrass and Billy Paynter are 'coming along nicely' in their battle to recover from their respective injuries, manager Simon Grayson reports.
"They are both back doing some running now and hopefully we can get them doing some football work in the not too distant future," he added.
Paynter injured a shin during the pre-season game against Kosice in Slovakia and Snodgrass was stretchered off with a leg injury during the 3-1 victory against SK Brann in Norway.
"It would be really good to have the two of them available but they have obviously missed six weeks or so since the start of the season and they will be down on their fitness levels.
"But if we can get them quickly back into some football work and get them up to speed then eventually some reserve football and they will be ready for the first team.
"I'll be delighted to have two top players we have in the squad available soon," he added.
