Argentinian left-back Federico Bessone is beginning to feel more at home with Leeds and in the Championship with each game he plays but he admits that he hasn't shown United fans his true form…so far.
"Myself, I am not playing my best yet - I am playing maybe 80-85 per cent of my best form. I feel I need to show a lot of things much better but I am trying to get confidence every game and I am doing that. Every game I feel better," he said.
"It is difficult when you are at a new team. You don't know your teammates but now I am getting confident with them. I am getting more confidence in myself," he added.
The 26-year-old former Swansea City star has attacking ability as well as his defensive qualities. "Hopefully I will be getting forward more. I will try. At the moment we have had some hard and difficult games but I will try to improve on my attacking play," he said.
United's next Championship game is at home to Fede's former club, Swansea City, on Saturday, September 11 and he is looking forward to playing against old friends. "It is going to be funny playing against Swansea because I know all of the players but we have to win. Whether it is Swansea or any other team we want to win. You want to win against every team you play," he said.
United have taken seven points from the12 on offer to them in the Championship to date and Fede says: "We didn't start the season good because we lost at home but to take seven points from four games is, I think, a good start for us," he said.
