Simon Grayson's Watford verdict...
Manager Simon Grayson hailed a gritty performance from his side after watching Leeds United pick up a first away win of the season at Watford on Saturday.
A Richard Naylor goal after just six minutes proved decisive as United held firm to pick up a second successive win of the Championship campaign.
"I was delighted to come away with the result," said the United boss.
"Watford have a different way of playing and you have to be able to deal with that. I thought we did that well. We defended well and we dealt with a lot of balls into the box.
"We knew it would be a tough encounter, but we got off to a great start and we got a good result.
"If I'm being honest, I didn't think we played as well as we can do on the break because we could maybe have made the game more comfortable, but I'm pleased with the result and there is a lot for us to build on."
The win was enough to lift United into the top-six and while it's early days, Grayson is more than happy with the start.
"We've had some good performances and we've shown different characteristics to our game," he said.
"It's been a step up for us, but we've done plenty of good things.
"We have made a good start and set good standards, now we have to maintain that."
