Leeds United go in search of their first league win of the new npower Championship season on the back of that creditable draw at Nottingham Forest last weekend, and are 6/5 favourites to put three points on the board at home to Millwall.

Punters backing the draw could have more than trebled their money last Sunday, while those who put their faith in Lloyd Sam to score would have enjoyed his equaliser at the City ground - as it paid 100/30 with Sportingbet.

This week the target must surely be profit in a home win, although with last season's record against the Lions in mind, the draw at 9/4 might not be a bad bet.

Defeats home and away made Millwall something of a bogey team last term, and the 39/20 on an away win could be considered all the more surprising considering their current form.

A 3-0 romp at Bristol City was a pre-cursor for Steve Coppell's Ashton Gate exit and was followed by a 2-1 success at Wycombe in the Carling Cup; but surely both were topped by the 4-0 romp at home to Hull City last weekend.

Nonetheless, United will be eager to become the first Championship side to put at least one past Millwall 'keeper David Forde in a game that surely promises goalmouth action.

Lloyd Sam's form has seen his price shorten slightly to 3/1 to score at any time, but the former Charlton man could still prove good value. Sanchez Watt to get off the mark for Leeds is 11/5, while the First Goalscorer market offers Becchio (5/1), Somma (6/1) and Grella (7/1) at attractive odds.

The Championship certainly has a penchant for the unpredictable and if you're looking for big odds, you could take a punt on a 4-2 thriller at 80/1.

Perhaps more realistic is the 18/1 on offer for a 3-1 scoreline, and for the more conservative-minded, converting a £10 bet into a £70 win for a 1-0 Whites victory could be the weekend's best bet.
