Simon Grayson

Simon Grayson is predicting another close encounter when his side come up against Millwall at Elland Road on Saturday.

United take on the Lions, hoping to break a run that has produced just one win in six against the Londoners.

Millwall arrive as the early league leaders and while recent history is in their favour, one lesser known fact is that Millwall have never won at Elland Road on a Saturday afternoon.

"In all the games we've had against them they've been close with not much between the teams," said Grayson.

"Last year we came out on the wrong end of two defeats, but we know all about them, they know all about us, and hopefully we'll get the breaks this weekend."

Millwall were the League One Play-Off winners last term while Leeds secured the second automatic promotion spot behind Norwich.

While we have picked up one point from our opening two games, the Lions have collected six points, scoring seven goals without conceding.

"I don't think their personnel has changed dramatically from last season when they almost caught us," added Grayson.

"Last year they were organised, hard working, and have a players who were a threat on goal as well.

"It might surprise a few people that they have made a good start, but I'm not surprised.

"They've turned over Bristol City and put four past Hull who were in the Premier League last season so we know it will be a tough test."
