Youngster Sanchez Watt believes Sunday's 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest was another good step on the learning curve for Simon Grayson's Leeds side.

The 19-year-old played a key role as United picked up a first Championship point of the season at the City Ground.

United came from 1-0 down to take a point and Sanchez moved from his wide role to playing as a more central striker alongside Luciano Becchio for the biggest part of the game.

"We changed our formation, got a goal, and we were organised after that," said Sanchez.

"It's not an easy place to go, but we had to show what we are all about and keep going until the end.

"I think it is a good point there. We're all learning together. We came under some pressure early on, but good teams can handle that pressure and go on from there.

"We'll keep going and see how the season goes."

Sunday was the first time Sanchez has started an away game for Leeds and he said he was amazed at the vocal support from the 4,200 fans who made the trip to Nottingham.

"Even when the game stopped you could hear our fans and they gave us a lot of confidence," he added.

"It was a great experience.  We were happy to come away with a point and we have a big game against Millwall on Saturday."
