Leeds United defender Liam Darville has joined Tranmere Rovers on a month's loan.

The 19-year-old Academy product will join the League One club for the opening month of the new campaign.

Liam, a right-back from Harrogate, has been a regular in United's reserve side for the past two seasons.

He had a spell on loan at Rotherham at the end of last season, but injury prevented him from making a senior appearance for the Millers.

More recently, Liam played a couple of games for York City during the Minstermen's pre-season campaign.
