Bradley Johnson on his first crack at the Championship...
Leeds United midfielder Bradley Johnson says anything is possible as the club prepares for a return to the npower Championship.
United return to football's second tier after spending three seasons in League One and in a league where no one team is standing out, there is a feeling Leeds can make an impression.
"It was good to get promoted last year and now we've got to go on," said Brad.
"I think we can give it a good push. If we finish in the top-six it's a bonus. Anything is possible.
"Leicester proved it last year by getting to the Play-Off semi-final, and Blackpool proved it as well with what we've they done.
"We have a good team here and the manager will bring some more players in which will only help."
Bradley joined the club in January 2008 and has made 91 appearances since arriving from Northampton. Last term he figured in 36 league games, and is aiming to make another impression a division higher.
"I was in and out last season, partly due to injury," he explained. "There's a lot of competition here, and if I have to play out of position I'll do it.
"I always wanted to get promotion and I'll do what it takes to play a part. Every season you want to do better.
"I've never played in the Championship and to do it with Leeds will be very special."
The squad are now settled back in pre-season training and the countdown towards the opening day visit of Derby County is firmly underway.
"We expect to to be hard over the next few weeks but we know what we've got to do," said Brad.
"It's a long pre-season, and we have to work hard.
"Before we've had the Play-Offs, but we've had a bit longer this year and even so you don't realise how quickly it comes around.
"But we've got five and half weeks to prepare for that first game and we'll be ready."
