Jubilant skipper Richard Naylor...
Club captain Richard Naylor was quick to speak of his pride after Leeds United secured promotion back to the Championship.
The Leeds-born defender has led the club since returning to his home city in January 2009 from Ipswich, and Saturday's 2-1 win against Bristol Rovers was the culmination of an important mission for Naylor.
"I'm very proud at what we've done," he said.
"We've done it the hard way - I said after the Charlton game, that we never seem to make things easy at this club - and it's been a long hard season, but we got there, and that's the most important thing.
"Things didn't go our way again on Saturday in the first half, but Jonny scored a great goal which changed the game and we went on from there.
"The scenes at the end were great. It's what we've worked for all season and I was very proud and pleased for everyone.
"We enjoyed Saturday night and we'll start looking ahead to the Championship.
"Leicester have shown what's possible when you come up from League One, and if we can keep pushing on who knows what we can achieve.
"We also have a good nucleus of Leeds lads in the team which can be important at times."
Unfortunately, the captain was forced to sit out the promotion clinching game after suffering an injury the previous weekend.
"I tore my hamstring at Charlton in the last 10 minutes when we went gung-ho," he revealed.
"I had a scan on Wednesday, rested on Thursday, and trained Friday and tried to give it a shot.
"But I didn't want to let anyone down. It was the right thing to do, and I had every faith in the lads out there that the job would be done.
"The season has been a proper grind, on a personal level I've had niggles and operations and I'm just glad to get over the line."
