Ben Parker in action at York

Defender Ben Parker is Simon Grayson's only new injury doubt ahead of Saturday's trip to face Charlton at the Valley.

Parker suffered a calf strain against MK Dons last weekend and is rated "highly doubtful" by the manager ahead of the weekend.

It was the youngster's first start since the opening day - he underwent hip surgery earlier this year - but his appearance was cut short when he pulled up in the second half.

"Ben is a major doubt," confirmed the manager.

"He picked up a calf strain and is doubtful which is real shame for him.

"He's had a tough season with the injuries and it's been really frustrating for him.

"Ben's the only doubt, although Paddy and Jason Crowe are obviously missing with longer-term injuries."

With no new worries, Grayson has three in-form strikers to select from as his squad prepares for a game that could see the club secure promotion back to the Coca-Cola Championship.

"We've everyone available and we're looking forward to the game," added the boss.

"There's plenty to think about and whatever team we put will be one we believe can get the result."
