It's in our hands - let's do it...
Midfielder Micky Doyle was quick to sound a rallying call in the wake of Monday's Elland Road defeat at the hands of Millwall.
The Irishman says the only positive to come out of the 2-0 reverse was that Leeds remain in the automatic promotion places - three points clear of the pack.
And the loan man says it's vital United make a swift response after suffering back-to-back league defeats for the first time this season.
"Monday was disappointing," Micky told LUTV.
"They were simple goals to concede, that's the really disappointing thing, but overall we got what we deserved.
"We're going through a bad spell, but the plus is that it is still in our own hands so we have to prepare well for Saturday and go out there and give a massive performance and get back on track."
United have recorded three league wins since the turn of the year, and a run that has produced three defeats in eight games has seen the chasing pack narrow the gap on Simon Grayson's promotion chasers.
"I can't put my finger on it," conceded Doyle.
"We were second best against Millwall and at Southampton and it's disappointing to say that, but we need to get some momentum back.
"We're making it difficult for ourselves, but we've got nine games left to put it right.
"Nobody will do us any favours, we have to do it ourselves and we have to stick together.
"We're well in pole position and we need to get the results and get promoted."
The Elland Road faithful aired their frustrations on what was a disappointing night on Monday, but Micky had no complaints.
"The supporters have very right to be disappointed," he said. "They know what they expect and what they've seen, and they are frustrated.
"They want the best for the club and so do we, but it probably doesn't look like that to them at the minute.
"They always stick with you and at the end of the game they voice their opinions. I've no qualms about that. They are a great set of fans."
