Skipper Richard Naylor is already chomping at the bit in readiness for Monday's Elland Road clash with Millwall.

After losing 1-0 at Southampton last weekend, attentions quickly turned towards the Elland Road visit of last season's Play-Off opponents.

The Lions hammered Charlton 4-0 at the Den last weekend and Kenny Jackett's side are now up to fourth in League One.

They will arrive at Elland Road looking to provide another stern test while United will be aiming to redress the balance after a poor performance at Southampton on Saturday.

"You have to put it behind you when you get a defeat," said the skipper.

"We were disappointed with how we started the game and were disappointed with what happened, but we have to bounce back quickly.

"We played well at Tranmere then a few days later we didn't. Players have good games and bad games and you have to move on quickly.

"Millwall is a big game, but they all are now. We have 10 games left and they are all important.

"We've had enough midweek games since Christmas and while it's good in one sense not to have one, there's a long time to wait now before we play Millwall.

"At the moment everyone other than Norwich seems to be slipping up, and any game against the top six that you play and win will put them further away from us.

"The next game is always the most important one. You can't beat yourselves up and worry too much if you lose because it affects your performance in the next game.

"Monday at the Army Camp was a good chance to get away from it in that respect."

Naylor and the squad spent Monday at Strensall Barracks near York undertaking a series of challenges set by the Yorkshire Regiment's recruitment team.

"It was good to meet the armt lads and experience the different challenges," added the captain.

"We did a lot of team building - they emphasise that - but the physical side is hard work as well."
